Derby based contemporary lace artist developing designs from traditional bobbin lacemaking techniques, including individual and bespoke jewellery.

Historically the function of lace was to make the wearer feel good about themselves and Louise continues to develop this ethos by using traditional techniques to create contemporary wearable lace and lace inspired fine silver jewellery

The jewellery is created using Precious Metal Clay, to produce individual and bespoke silver jewellery.  Louise teaches traditional, and contemporary lacemaking in her Derby based studio and various other locations by arrangement. Regular lace classes available in Derby, Nottingham and Leicestershire
